| Hi, my name is Sherry Shewcraft. I have been a member of Victory Church since it first started and have been employed by the church since 1987. When I first started working here, I was the only person in the office besides Pastor Randy and Pastor Terry. Since that time, we have hired several others to join our church family. I am a single mother of seven children and have had many obstacles to overcome, but with the help of my church family and God, I have been able to remain victorious! Here at the church, I now work in the financial department. It is amazing the see the faithfulness of God. He has never let us down. He is always here for us and will remain with us even in these difficult economic times. He is faithful! Being involved in the church is very important to me. I host a group for our single moms called “Never Alone Ministry”. We meet together monthly and pray for each other. We have found out that everyone has strengths that can help someone else and that is why it is important to get together. We are here for one another. I also head up our hospitality ministry here at Victory. We set up meals for people who have come home from the hospital or just had a baby and are in need of assistance. We also coordinate dinners for the families whose loved ones have gone to see Jesus and the funeral is held here at the church. There is always room for more helpers if you would like to join our team. For my final words, it has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of this church. God is my all in all, and without Him, I would be nothing. He has molded me and changed me into the person that I am today. And for that I am truly grateful. Thank you Jesus and thank you Victory Church! |
