At Victory Church all of our songs and also many parts of our messages are projected onto screens for the congregation to follow. These are often enhanced with moving backgrounds and other effects, depending on the purpose. This is all done by computers that are operated by volunteers during our services.
We also have stage and house lighting that coordinates with our computer projection to provide the best atmosphere and lighting contrast for the best video projection and the most comfortable scenes during the service. Our goal is to do everything possible practically in the sanctuary to help people experience and connect with God spiritually. Lighting is part of that. Harsh lights can be distracting, and too dim lights can make it hard to move about, so we work to achieve the best scenes throughout the service. This is also controlled by computers. It's easier than it sounds, as it's pretty much pre-programmed. But it's all done by volunteers at Victory.
