Rolando and Holly Herrera

Holly grew up in Fenton, Missouri and moved to Costa Rica with her parents when she was 18 years old. Her parents worked as missionaries there, and Holly knew she was also called to work for the Lord. She returned to St. Louis and worked for Joyce Meyer Ministries for a time, then returned to Costa Rica in 1999 to work as a missionary. It was at this time she met Rolando and they married in 2001. Rolando also felt the call of God on his life and in October of 2001 he also began to work full-time in the ministry. Costa Rica has been their home and their mission field since that time. They have three sons, Dylon, Gabriel and Samuel.

Rolando and Holly have ongoing works in many different areas, including feeding programs, prison ministry, itinerant ministry in many churches in Costa Rica and surrounding countries, translation and youth ministry. Their ongoing vision is to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the young, the displaced, the hopeless and the unloved of the world.
