Short Term Mission Trips

One way for American Christians to really gain world perspective and gratitude for how God has blessed our nation, and to reach out with the love of Jesus to the less fortunate of our world, is to go on a short-term missions trip. It will change your perspective, your outlook, and your life forever.

Victory Church has sponsored trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ethiopia, and Fiji. They range from 1-2 weeks in length. Participants raise their own funds, and pay their own way. Many people take vacation time to go.

Some trips are mainly ministry trips where we go to churches, schools, and orphanages to share and minister. Some trips include medical clinics where we take doctors and nurses who volunteer their medical services to help poor people in rural areas in the name of Christ. We often provide hygiene packs, lice shampoo clinics, basic medicines, and other helpful services for the people. Other trips are construction trips where we take carpenters and those skilled in building and the trades to help build churches and pastor's homes and other needed buildings. Some trips are a combination of one or more of the above. We take an average of 2-4 of these trips each year.
