Who We Are

Our History
Victory Church was founded in 1983 with the merger of two churches. Pastor Randy Starkey and Pastor Terry House each pastored churches in our area, Pastor Terry in Arnold, MO and Pastor Randy in Crystal City, MO, when the Lord spoke to them to bring the churches together to form a "regional church" to be able to touch and reach more people in our area south of St. Louis, MO. Land was purchased just outside Pevely, now nearly 30 acres, between Arnold and Crystal City, and the congregations began meeting together. First in a local catholic chapel, then in a local public school, and we were then able to move into our own newly built facility on our own land in 1985. We moved in with around 85 people. It has been a wonderful story of the supernatural working of God to build His church in our midst, and we know it is so we might be a blessing to others!

Our Mission (WHY we exist...)
"Building the Church, Blessing the World!" - We are seeking to build a strong, stable and loving church for all generations, releasing people into their God-given potential and possibility and together touching, blessing and unmistakably influencing our community, nation, and the world with the good news of salvation and victory through Jesus Christ. Jesus said He would build His church, and the gates of Hell would not prevail against it! (Mt. 16) The church is a body not a building, a people not just a place. We are seeking to build the one thing Jesus said He was building - the church! First in our own local church, then we seek to be a blessing to various other parts of His church, the Body of Christ, and then a blessing to the world that so desperately needs the love and touch of Jesus Christ!
